Chain oil on these saws, you can use cooking oil. Won't harm the tree being trimmed, won't draw insects and lubricates the saw/chain. I've been using a sun joe cordless 24v expanding pole chainsaw...

Really good deal. Lower price than the 8" version I purchased from Woot 4 months ago. But these electric pole saws are cumbersome to use. Very top heavy.

I had the exact same experience. Managed to trim two trees before it started slipping. Tried tightening it several times but it kept slipping.
