Doing a quick test registration for this kit on the LSA page shows that the included battery is part number R840040, which is a 4.0 Max Output.

Some review pics show it with Max bat. Others do not. Some HD reviews can be "tool only" reviews mixed with "tool and bat review". Max bat or not, $149 is a very god price.

The description says "4.0 Ah Battery" but the pictures show a 4.0 Ah Max Output Battery.
