Yes moonlight works on shield. You just need a pc with Nvidia video card on the same network to broadcast to the shield. Moonlight app needs to be running on the shield (get it from play store)

Great points. It's nice to have options. I plan on getting a steamdeck for xmas, for my son, and a new vid card for myself. Need to see some benchmarks for AMD first. Exciting times!

I thought about it. I used steam remote play and didn’t like leaving my desktop on (high watt/heat) in the summer during the day, and it wouldn’t work when I travel across the country due to latency....

Probably? Everything I've read about it and Xbox's equivalent, they run extremely well with low specced comps, similar to streaming youtube or netflix but you dont have buffering, its all real time....
