Did that come from Bullsh*t_statistics.com? I'm in IT and have had multiple people destroy harddrives by accidentally dropping them while transporting. That hardly hit your B.S. 200G's of force...

You realize that when the header is parked in a HDD it can withstand up to 200G's of force. The UPS driver could toss your box at a wall full force and it would most likely be fine.

That sounds like user error. Try rclone or something that is multi-threaded.

SMR gets really rough. I've seen write as low as like 10-20MBPS on mine. Wasn't aware it was SMR when I bought it. Returned it within a week.

13.75/Tb is pretty good. SMR isn't the best, but if you are using this for storage (not game storage) it should be fine.
