Lol. Some of the nicest speakers I've ever owned are in my bedroom. It's a pair of NHT towers with side firing 8" woofers that I picked up a thrift store for $50. Their msrp was like $1000. One...

BTW since there are those in the know - what do you think of the Fosi T20? A bluetooth aptX HD tube amp? It looks like these can be had for under $70 on eBay new: https://www.fosiaudio.com/t20/

Great deal. I grabbed mine on Black Friday for $63. For anyone who purchased this amp, know that the op-amps are not soldered to the board, rather, they are inserted into a socket. This is really...

This doesn’t have treble and bass control knobs? That seems really bizzare, isn’t that the bare minimum for an amplifier to have - after the volume knob?

These are not going to do well to drive any 4 ohm load no matter what it is and even if you did put the 4ohm speakers in series these just don't have the watts to drive those subs properly. There...

One rather disturbing thing about getting older is loss of hearing that most people get as they age. Usually it's the high frequencies. Very interesting web page below. This might affect the choice...

True. Cognitive bias is huge in audio comparisons. A 10 yr old, $20 AVR from a reputable brand at a thrift store compared to this amp will typically have more power, more amplified channels, remote...

good point. The Aiyima A07 has very good reviews and specs . The specs are probably better than most of the AVR. Now, if one did a blind test side by side ,could one tell a difference? Maybe, maybe...

The stock power supply can only do ~75 watts, if you want 100+ you need to use a 48v 10amp. but it'll probably still cut out around 100 safety circuits. To keep it cool, perhaps try a 36v 10amp.
