First line in the OP states that this offer excludes outdoor products. My guess is that you were denied because they exclude yard tools such as the string trimmer and leaf blower you purchased.

Yes I got a follow up email a couple of days after the first, confirming rebate status and that the battery was being shipped. Battery came two days after that.

PPL will not be asked to return the rebate battery back if they return the purchase. However, it is definitely not a good thing if more people do that.

I hope people don't do this. Dewalt is doing a great job getting these to people in record time, I'd hate to see them change their policy and wait 90 days to send out the batteries to weed out...
