Power monitoring sounds cool but I don't think it's worth the extra money for me. I don't think the data is going to do anything except show me a number that I say that's good or that's bad.

Look into Homebridge. Just getting it setup myself and seems to be a great experience over Alexa and the native Kasa app. No need to buy new devices
