these are a bit stretchy and it's difficult to balance or have a strong grip on these, would not recommend for yoga or floor exercise.

Thanks. I never see a deal on the thicker mats. This will be my first mat. Does anyone know if the size (71" x 24") is adequate for exercising or is something larger needed?

Thanks for that heads up!! Edited to show that price difference. The mat alone is worth ten bucks! The pad for your knees is pretty great for hip flexor stretches.
