I've bought one of these years ago for $9. It was pretty nice, not bad. But I think someone in my family stole it, not sure where it went. The ones I'm left with have short cords or should be...

Buy new and buy quality. The whole purpose of a surge protection is to protect the things u have plugged in against surges. For me, it’s APC or nothing.

Agreed... Would not trust this to protect anything. Went for this one instead. https://a.co/d/btAmc2j 3 times the price but over 4 times the joules and a pretty good clamp voltage.

Can you find these at Walmart for similar price with a 6 foot cord? I think that's what makes this a good deal, but haven't checked Walmart in a while.
