I have the DDR4-4200 kit of this line and they are Samsung b-die. I have mine set at 4000 Gear 1 @ 16, 17, 17, 34. Great kit that if tuned right can be even better.

Similar on Intel actually, if you want low latency DDR4, Gear 1 maxes out between 3600-4000 depending on how lucky you were in the silicon lottery and your cpu/mobo combination.

I think it depends on whether your virtual memory gets paged in and out. If your physical memory is adequate then the system does not need to swap pages between physical main memory and the disk...

You're confusing AMD and Intel - Zen 3's Infinity Fabric maxes at 1800 so 3600mhz is the recommended and max timing and it benefits a bit more than Intel, at least in terms of the 1% lowest...
