Question for the fan on top. It seems like that is a solid plate. Do you remove that then there is a spot for fan, or is the fan just screwed into that plate?

Add extra fans to this PC!! I had 2 @ 120mm fans laying around (very old 900RPM fans) and put one in the top for exhaust (using the mount HP has there) and then I laid one on the floor by the PSU...

For the people that are gaming on this and have high GPU temps (which then drops your cards performance and life span) it is the stock fan curve thats the problem. I played with MSI Afterburner for...

Just wanted to give a quick update on my replacement Envy. It's working pretty good, sleep functions as it should (with a quirk I have to investigate) and light flashes slowly while in sleep. (just...

Hey SD'ers. Picked mine up today, system looks great, if not a little heavy. Opened it up and now the Side panel won't stay latched on. It was tight to get off, and now that it's back on it's...

To be honest if you are returning it for a hardware issue I don’t think they’re really gonna care about what Windows is on there at all. Reinstalling Windows, and getting rid of HPs bloated version...

All sounds great but what happens if we need to return the pc or it craps out after we wipe it? Anyway to go back to favor HP version if we need to return or for it to cover under the warranty?
