Thanks. I plan on it. One of the main reasons why I got Denon was Audyssey. I currently own an older Denon with basic Auddessey and it’s great in my experience.

Three inputs have full HDMI 2.1 support, the others are 4K/60. So if you somehow have more than 3 HDMI 2.1 devices (or plan on getting them) you may want to get something else.

If you comfortable making adjustments to your sound I would suggest looking at purchasing the Audyssey MultEQ Editor app. It adds very beneficial adjustments that better RC's like Dirac gives you,...

Online via chat. Gave up and ordered the Denon X3700H directly from Denon for $1199. They have 60 days free returns. X3700H seems to be the sweet spot for quality components and value.

I'm not having any issues with the NR6100 and since I only spent $200 for it I might just keep it and wait until new units with nicer features come without HDMI bugs from the start come out for...

All the new AVRs have the 2.1 bug. They need the hardware update. Not a great time to be in the market.

I did do that with my VR-673 and was having issues. I mean I still had my Apple TV going through the receiver since I didn't need HDMI 2.1 with that one. I did have the PS5 and X going directly to...

Why not run all your components to the LG C1 then one HDMI out to your ARC in the receiver? I've got my Samsung 85" QN90A outputting to the ARC in my Yamaha RXV 675. My speakers are all Mirage with...

This feature legitimately makes poorer quality tv show streams sound clearer, more intelligible and less harsh sounding on my speakers.

Probably so. I will probably keep the nr6100, B&Ws and wait for these high end receivers to come down in price as they are ridiculous now.

You may be overthinking this. I would recommend taking a listen to everything and if you find something you are happy with you are done. IMO nothing tells you what the “best sound” is to you...

I got my RX-A2080 in 2019 for $900 (was a heck of a deal) but it's successor is the RX-A6A for $2400? This is a bad timeline. I want off.

I don't know how good a deal this is, but I currently have a Yamaha TSR- 7810 running my entertainment center after only using Marantz receivers for decades and I'm very pleased with it, and if I...

Sadly, I think the only thing that is going to "fix" the situation is spending a couple grand on a receiver comparable to the old Onkyo. This one just sounds harsh and metallic by contrast. ...

No doubt, sounds super frustrating and annoying. Sounds like I dodged a bullet. Since it's under warranty, hopefully you can get some resolution. Good luck!

I wonder if a Sharc or something similar would work. I keep thinking about getting a new receiver for proper 4K, but I can’t part with my good old Onkyo receiver. Newer receivers aren’t in the same...
