Same issue they had with the iSine's, which also ended up being discounted to around this price. An interesting product that sounds pretty good, but not competitive at the price point.

The stock tuning on these suck, but when EQed to match some reference tracks they are AMAZING. I got the $400 previous deal and am so glad I have them.

For $399 and even $299, you're overpaying. You should know that you shouldn't have to EQ at this price, and yet you need to in order to fix some very apparent gaps in the tuning.

these take a little experimenting with different tips to get the perfect fit to really get the most out of these. they’re also not very forgiving of poor or even adequate source material.
