Well, my thirty years of using 12 point sockets without any problem says otherwise.

Yup, then probably a new case too because they likely won't fit in this one.

I like the socket set pieces I own from Husky. You have to be careful with sets that tout numbers of pieces, many can be cheap filler pieces. Cobalt is their equivalent at Lowes, not Craftsman. ...

Personally I prefer 6pt because they have been less likely to strip rusted or stubborn bolt/nuts. I have actually broken a couple of 12pt sockets, but I was absolutely doing things I shouldn't have...

There are plenty of 6-point combination and ratcheting wrench sets out there. I've definitely stripped some bolt heads using 12-point wrenches and sockets over the years. However I'm a very active...

What’s the big deal? I have 6- and 12-point sockets and I’ve never broken any of them. People act like it matters so much, but it doesn’t. I’ve never seen a six point combination wrench, and now...

Nvm found it. https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-63-piece-Mechanic-s-Tool-Set/1002575826 Wondering if this is better? A lot less parts. Not sure if they are really worth extra for it?

I could live with a somewhat crappy case, but not a million 12-point sockets that I'd never use (I guess I might begrudgingly accept smaller 1/4" in 12-point). This set is all 6-point though! ...

I find this to be the case with most Husky tool sets. They ruin them with crappy cases.

Good tools with a terrible case according to the reviews. I have an old Craftsman tool set now with the same issue that I'm looking to replace. Unfortunately this won't be it.

I think I have this one. I've used it on my car and it works well. I do wish it came with some larger Allan wrenches, but I guess I can't complain too much!
