My bathroom has a separate room for the toilet. It would be quite the undertaking to set that up. Would probably be easier to have an outlet installed and get an electric one.

My bathroom sink (cabinet) is right next to the toilet so it was an easy install to the hot water line there. Just had to drill a small hole in the cabinet base and run the water line about 3 feet...

I tell people when they ask about bidets and cleanliness... If you car gets muddy, you don't use dry paper towels to clean it, you use a hose. The bidet is a concentrated blast of water, it'll scrub...

Exactly, the retracting head keeps it clean and some have shields that are in place to prevent splash back affecting the nozzles.

Once you use a bidet there really is no going back. It's just so much cleaner. If you live in warmer climates the cold water only isn't too bad.

LOL, bad comparison. But to use your example, the more efficient method would be to get as much mud/dirt with an outdoor broom. Afterwards, hose the driveway. In this case, the broom would be the TP.
