Vertical viewing angles are usually not an issue. Wall mounts have a small up & down adjustment that would rectify any issue.

Well... that's about right nowadays. My upper-tier Sony dies 26 months into (light) usage and Sony corp informed me that I should've not expected it to last longer than 2 years!!
