If you're a "run everything at stock" these will perform fine at their rated speed. These are unfortunately Micron DDR5 which is horrible for overclocking. Don't expect much more than 5200-5600. ...

Can you buy this in-store at this price as well? I am traveling near their store this week, so I am curious if they have these there. ETA: I see that option during checkout.

This is a pretty decent price for DDR5 RAM... Looking forward to similar Corsair Vengeance RAM getting down to this price.

I remember same thing happened with DDR3 and DDR4. First gen DDR4 was laughably slow, high timings and low frequency. I had a really cheap Samsung DDR3 memory clocked at 2133 with super low...

It's still about as big a deal as speed, it's simply not talked about because it's harder for the masses to absorb.

If you're going to take the leap into the DDR5 world, don't buy sticks this slow. Pass.

Nice price, but don't plan on overclocking much on these as these are Micron. You'd be lucky to get anywhere near close 6000 on these. Hynix A die>Hynix M-die>Samsung>Micron DDR5 hierarchy.

I like the pricing trend. The ram is too slow but good to see 32GB @ $105. To equal B-die the Cas speed need to be 28-30. DDR5 is not there yet. So in the future a Cas28 DDR5 8000mhz would be great....
