They’re not OFR quality but I wouldn’t say they’re bad. Floyd supplies the Jackson ones these days. They’re FRS.

You can play it. But a similar priced guitar more suited would be the Harley Benton Hb35 Plus. Reverb has for under 250 from their official us distributor.

You have to like Ibanez Wizard necks. I had an Ibanez S521 and couldn't really like its neck no matter how much I tried to. This Jackson's compound radius neck is very easy to play.

I remember NEEDING a FR since that's what Dime and Kirk used when I was 16. Meanwhile, 24 years later, I've basically never used them. I would also buy the green immediately if it was a hard tail.

You don’t need to do anything to the nut or the locking tuners. It has a locking nut. But the Jackson trems are notoriously bad. Just swap it out for an OFR or Schaller (depending on which one fits...
