From what I've read, usually, you can run a Gasoline engine on natural gas, or propane. Just have to find the right jet size for the existing carburator.

Depends on the meter you have on your house the newer meters supply more pressure I think 11 inches of WC I can't remember the old ones were 7.5" I think but I have a 3/4" gas line ran to my garage...

Generally when using a converted one to NG you get less output I'd assume if this was converted to NG you would get less than 3k watts continuous

Not true. If you already have a generator inlet, you can get an adapter and run your house. Just won't power 240v appliances.
