You'd have to write 220gb per day for 5 years to reach the rated TBW on this drive.. highly doubt anyone on these forums does that outside professional capacity, and in those cases they're getting...

You know better than me as I’m new to unraid. But thought for $100 it’s worth trying or I can use it as an external with an enclosure and buy a 2.5 1tb ssd for the cache instead.

TLC vs QLC doesn't make the difference in game load or OS boot times. All that really matters for that is read latency and access time, and that is practically indistinguishable on SSDs. You'll see...

At least this has DRAM compared to the other 2TB with no DRAM. I would use the Intel 660p instead of the Kingston NV2 because of the DRAM.

I'm not quite sure it's anywhere near that maybe if you compare if both drives were near full. Couldn't find any reviews comparing the two on the same test bench, but the Kingson has less rated...

Don't cache drives generally need a high TBW? Not sure QLC is up for it. Depends on usage though.

Absolutely, but I'd still be using the Kingston as a storage drive mostly for Steam games since it's basically Gen 3 speeds and wouldn't want to use a Gen 4 slot for it when most motherboards only...
