I almost had same experience with 3/8" that I kept expecting to click. Fortunately, I stopped on an alternator bolt and tried a GW digital that showed I had already over torqued. I may get one of...

The value, esp at the $10 sale price, is unquestionable. My experience, though, is that the 1/2" HFT torque wrenches offer a relatively reliable click, but the 3/8" does not. After I stripped that...

If they have lifetime warranty so you can get them replaced. I got all 4 sizes in 2021 when they had them for $10 each. Only use them on my motorcycles and so far has worked out great. I can live...

Yeah someone that would call a power steering pump a compressor would probably use a HF torque wrench… 🤣 🤣 🤣 (You can’t compress fluid…it’s a hydraulic pump.)

I've used the clicker type against my old beam type to see if they are somewhat in agreement (find the appropriate socket to fit the 1//2" square drive). I was annoyed that my clicker seemed to give...

For lug nuts, 1/2 version of the digital converter is needed, it covers 25-250 ft. lb...

Also if this digital converter is too big to fit a tight space, we can calibrate a click type torque wrench with this converter then use the click type to do the work....

When you put back the oil drain plug or and lug nuts, when do you stop tightening them further? By feeling right? But different people have different standards/feelings on what’s considered tight...

Most lug nuts for tires are tightened to at least 80 or 90 ft-lbs, I believe these go up to 59 ft-lbs per the post details.

I do believe these HFT torque wrenches are covered under HFT's lifetime warranty. Technically (I believe) the calibration is only covered for something like 90 days, but if you take it back and...

Sorry for the dumb question. I’ve never used this or knew the purpose of it. Would someone who just does oil changes or rotates tires require something like this? Like what would I benefit from this?

Oddly, the wrench still clicks for bolts of the power steering compressor, so I know it works. I wish I could test it and toss it if it is busted. Since I can't or haven't taken the time to do so,...

I had a similar experience with a 3/8" HFT torque wrench. I have better torque wrenches, but decided to use the HFT cheapy on a ball joint bolt which needed something like 38 ft lbs. I remember...

I snapped a bolt with my 3/8" HF Pittsburgh torque wrench. I think I was looking for 20ft lbs or less and I didn't feel the "click". Ended up getting this digital adapter for ft-lbs that are too...
