That's where the Sette has it beat. It can be set down to a 100th of a second :bounce:

I was going to buy one of these but ended up with a 1zpresso j-max instead. Those have a 20% coupon on amazon right now but it's still more expensive, but definitely high quality and very versatile...

Abso-fukn-lootley. I had the original 270W and that thing was awesome. Just very very loud and it flung coffee around its base that didn't make it into the portafilter because of how fast it grinds....

10th of a second?! Preposterous! My Beanwhizgrinder 3000 can grind to a millisecond! And yes, you uncouth barbarians, you CAN taste an overwhelmingly obvious difference between a shot ground for a...

Yes, Eureka can go to tenth of a second. It holds close to zero grounds. Maybe a few tenths of a gram.

Yes, better. Even on my pricey Mahlkonig K30 Vario, I still weigh the beans to the 10th/gram to single dose and use a bellows (also available on Etsy for the Eureka line) to clear any retention. The...

Better? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvAMsnjLE7w The Sette can dial-in the grind duration to the tenth of a second. Can the Eureka? And does the Eureka retain any grinds?

Buying the Eureka Silenzio over the Sette 270 for about $35 more is a better deal. Better machine, much quieter and nearly maintenance free. Just spend some time getting the grind to the right size...

I've always read to use just a few drops as you say. If someone is going to use water in the beans to cut down the spray of chaff the main thing is to use just enough to cut down the spray. Too much...

That does sound like too much. I literally do a light half spray from a spray bottle or literally a few drops from wetting my fingers and that's enough to reduce the static. I grind per brew,...

The time it takes a liter to boil in the kettle (the Oxo is likely the fastest kettle on the market right now), the 58 is near full heat...it beeps when it reaches the temp you've set (3 steps) I've...

Thank you for the input, I had no clue about the updated model. For awhile now, I’ve considered doing the Gaggiuino mod, but it’s quite a bit of time to get set up. From what I’ve gathered, it seems...

I only brew espresso and now I am using 1zpresso jx pro. Since I only brew one cup per day, not sure 270 will be an upgrade besides the obvious convenience. I read many complaints regarding 270...

Man I really like this Encore deal, but everyone seems to say the grounds make a mess. Spouse is super picky about countertop messes, so I may get the OXO to keep the marriage stable

Something like the Sette 270 is better than the built-in grinder, but by how much is harder to say. The grinder is more impactful on the final quality/ result of the espresso than the machine used to...
