Adapters and extensions are fine on torque wrenches as long as you are not changing the center of rotation.

BlainsFleet and Farm is where I got 2 of mine in 2020 for $99 each. 20 bucks is negligible in deals, but just saying that there were many $99 deals out there at that time.

This set is NOT an impact set. You can use a torque wrench on these but no impacts. Using adapters on sockets and extensions has to be calculated into the torque specs.

Perhaps this set was $99 elsewhere but camelcamelcamel shows $119 as Amazon's lowest price and that was Feb 2020.

Yes this is an excellent set and a bonus is all the parts stay in place when closed/open, many other kits sockets will fall out. As for close to pre pandemic, not at all, these were non stop 99...
