Bestbuy has this for $189 now, hopefully this is a reliable monitor. Bought one for work. Any existing owners? first hand impressions?

I've got a 24" 4k and it's great. It's only 183ppi. For example, the retina screen on a MacBook 14"/16" is 254ppi.

Is 27' too small for 4k though? 32' seem to be the minimum?

Just checked mine, it was manufactured 05/2022. Seems like they sold the newer stock only. Good!

Just a heads up, LG issued a service program alert due to a defect in 2 similar models with almost the exact same model name, the 27UP600-WY and 27UP650-WY. They had a power on issue for models...

Can anyone offer advice as to whether this is a better option for general use (web browsing, light office work and light gaming) vs the 32" HP QHD 165hz IPS also at best buy?...

I'll keep this simple. This monitor can rock! Just bought this because 4K UHD TV's this size are impossible to find and I did not care about speakers or USB ports to connect a secondary PC and...

I tried with 2 different 10+ year old 22" monitors. was able to get them both up to 70hz just fine. one is a glossy hp and the other is like a matte finish sceptre. colors look fine on both.

First, are you sure your monitor doesn't support 70hz already? Some monitors simply won't display when you try to go beyond their specs. Others though are able to be overclocked a little with...

You've already discovered that adapter can only do 4K@30hz. Best Buy didn't have a lot of options but here's a few from Amazon you could consider: ...

I see this is matte screen not glossy. Anyone know if there is a similar priced sized glossy ips 4k on sale? I'm coming from a glossy tv and monitor so this is bothering me a little.

I ended up getting this as I'm used to 27" and 32 would make it feel too much like a tv for me. Plus all 32 4k monitors are priced at $400 or more (IPS at least) so not looking to spend that much...

Looks like that goes up to 4k 30hz. I would suggest avoiding 4k screens. 30hz is just too low for even desktop work. A 1440p screen will run at 60hz with that adapter.
