Now I understand where all the unopened ryobi tool kits come from that are later sold via liquidator stores I find on facebook marketplace.

Too bad they dont have 40v deals like they do the 18v. The used market is pretty healthy for their 40v lineup I guess lol. Good deal tho especially for this 4.0 batteries. I'd bite if I didn't...

Yeah I read about the slip and how that actually helps - I found a speed controller for $16 that has slow start/stop builtin and got the variable pedal as well so that should allow for the motor to...

That may be tempting but please do not take lightly a step up to 40 amps if it is blowing 30 amp fuses. The fuse is protecting the wiring and electrical components from melting their insulation and...

Great deal. And these ship to California! Unlike the 2+2 deal

Yeah I got one of those adapters off amazon that has the inline fuse - I'm not an electrician and don't have the connectors and proper wiring laying around, so its just much easier and cleaner to use...

So much more convenient when the ride is running on tool batteries. Just be sure to use a 20-30A inline fuse, because the kids will try to drive straight up a tree and burn out the wiring without it.

Awesome and timely deal - the batteries will be going in a power wheel.

I’ve literally never had a toy I fail and I do lots of home projects. I’ve also seen “dissections” of a ryobi after 2 years and it was still good to go for a long time. If I could write off my tools,...

I've often said, if you gotta ask if Ryobi is "good enough", it is. A dedicated contractor will know if red/yellow is worth the premium.

I went with ryobi because I am a homeowner doing mostly light jobs. Would not buy ryobi for business use. I have I think 9 tools and 10 batteries, 4 carry cases, and got all of it between black...

You have valid points for what I am guessing is your specific use case (which may mirror others). With that out of the way the HP batteries are more a gimmick unless you own practically all the...

FWIW. Appear to be HP batts. Free ship. Honey was popping up with another $5.45 cash back.

Got the deal 2 weeks ago with the intent to return the drill kit but decided to keep it as a back up. Overall impressed and now 4 batteries richer.

Don’t answer the phone they can’t annoy. Or when they call, tell them to cancel

For those going this route, HD will annoy you for 30 days to pick up the item. After 30 days, they will cancel that item.

Choose two different stores and don’t pick up at the other store. It will cancel

I'm new to Ryobi deal hacking. What would one expect to pay for a 4ah HP battery instead of this regular one?
