Only 1 out of 2 that I ordered had shipped. I didn't test the limits to see but I suspect you tried later than I did and it already ran out of stock. Mine was shipped in the original box as well...

Yes, but it's a pretty sturdy corrugated cardboard. I bought 4 and have no issues with any of them. 1 was delivered by Amazon and 3 were delivered by USPS.

so they are shipping these out in just the packaging the manufacturer put them in? at almost 6 feet I would bet some will get bent/damaged in transit.
