The ram is not overlapped by the battery. Also, it's extremely easy to clone an ssd. Most SSDs come with the software to do it. You just need another computer and a the ability to plug both drives...

It's very thin. That's why it's soldiered. There is an ssd slot but only 1. You could replace the one installed with a bigger one if you want but the ram is non-upgradeable
