If you bought yours in 2020, you probably have the Unifying Receiver (orange star), correct? I'm just saying, the Bolt Receiver (green bolt) is worth $15... and better... :)

What? Usb receiver is not included along with keyboard? I have the same set ordered from logitech got it for $150 early covid days. I remember receiver is included.

Also, your comment about this keyboard being $90 is misleading... The keyboard you mentioned from BestBuy is Black/Black and works with the Logitech USB Unifying Receiver... it's currently $93...

Only the business version use the Bolt receiver. The regular MX Keys and MX 3 use the Unified receiver. The MX Keys mini is another story though...some use Bolt and some use Unified...very confusing.

It doesn’t. You have to have the business version or bolt version of the device. It’s not backwards compatible so if you had a non bolt device it would not work with this receiver.
