Picked up a 7' M for when we fly to FL to visit family. Paired it with one of their Spartacus II reels (3000 size) which was also on sale. Took it to a lake the other day and it casts a variety of...

My order came today. Build is very good, I didn’t see any QC concerns. Better than I expected to be honest. Rod has good feel too it. It isn’t heavy at all like most telescopic rods. Lining up...

The 7 foot fast medium would be the one I'd get. Or 6.6" in Medium Light.

Check Daiwa Presso pack rod, it has 56UL all the way up to 7UL. Pack rod is way better than tele rod.

This is perfect, thanks. My travel rod won’t actually fit in my carry-on, so I guess I’m going to grab one of these telescopic rods. Anyone rating you may suggest or just stick with something...

That's a perfect setup for San Diego and Mission Bays. I would recommend using 1/4 to 1/2 inch weedless lead heads (ton of salad in the bays) like warbaits paired with either big hammer plastics in...

I have this rod and a few others that telescope. None fish as well or cast as well as my cheap two piece rods. Just my two cents. I would save my money on these unless you absolutely have to have...

i keep one with me at all times. you have to be careful - they are delicate and can break easier than a regular rod. but just use it with that understanding and they will last.

I’ll be traveling to SD about once a month for work. I plan on taking a boat out at fisherman’s landing, but would also like to bring a rod and reel with me in the event I have only a couple hours...

These are great telescopic rods. Highly recommend them. For the price, you cannot go wrong. I use mine for fishing while on the road, not for my normal fishing activities.

Not a bad price given the cost of importing them these days. This appears to be a rebranded Chinese Sougayliang rod. They’ve been pretty solid for me since I fish in an urban environment. The 6.6ft...

Any recommendations for reel to go with? Is this suited for inshore (inter coastal) fishing or is one from the post better?
