You can buy up to 8 or whatever your store allows per transaction. No need to split purchases.

if you are not into miles and points game, best to avoid these card as you may find it is inconvenience to use and keep track of the balance :).. I personally love these as I can rack up about 50-60...

Just use cash as a gift. No need to buy these things. We got one as a gift and did not use it for 2 years and it was all gone due to no usage fees. So dumb.

I noticed that Visa gift cards linked fine, but if I try to pay to someone with a Paypal Me account, it always fails even if I select Goods & Services. .
