They work perfectly fine without a subscription, i love mine. have regular 6 and they are incredibly stable and have been the best router i’ve had since an apple router in 2010

This is spot on, and my sentiments exactly. I wouldn’t have invested $600 into 6 Eero devices had I know they were going to jack up the price of their premium subscription from $3 to $10.
