Not likely. I have the Cappellix 280mm that I've used on the 5800X and 5900X. That has to run full blast to stay below 180F when software transcoding with handbrake.

With it's cooling ability and fan noise, you're better off sticking with the stock coolers. Also there are low profile coolers available.

Has its place. Not everyone is trying to cool a powerful cpu. This is more than enough for the 65W TDP of many processors, and helps fit in SFF cases where low profile is necessary.

if you're looking for more cooling a 280 or 360 is where you want to go. this performs worse than most higher end air coolers. it's made for something like a 13500 chip not K's or other warm cpu's...
