My order arrived today. We're very happy with the quality. The handles are heavy and will look nice on our new doors being installed next month. Because of the price, I bought 2, hoping the second...

Correct, I just had to do a small (3 mm?) hole using my drill. It was not even a straight one between the outer and inner faces of the door. But it worked!

I think I saw these for about $8 at my local HD last week. It was Defiant brand and extremely similar style handle if not the same. When I picked up the box to check the handle out, the box was...

A few manufacturers (Kwikset, Baldwin, Schlage) sell “extension” kits for extra thick doors. I think Defiant is a Schlage brand, so you might be able to use one of their kits. Kwikset kit for...

Hard to say without actually seeing the insides of each, but typically (typically) the inside handle of a lockset is pretty standard and should work. But unless someone here has actually tried that...

I bought the castle model about 3 weeks ago. Installation was pretty easy. The quality is pretty good for 20$. The handles feel a bit hollow compared to the pricier one but like I mentioned for the...

Looking to for something like this but keep the privacy door handle that I already have to match the rest of the house. Anyone know if I can mix and match and use the current door handle that I have...

Bought one and love it. Good flat black color and yes you door have to drill through the door for the bottom piece to secure. They give you a nice cap to cover the screw on the inside of the door....

Would look okay for garage or deck door?

No, it couldn't help, because that metal shift that goes from inside knob couldn't reach inner part of door handle. So when you press that metal tongue it just won't open door.

I think you just need some longer screws. The door handle opener pin is pretty long, I don’t think you need fully insert to the door knob

I just installed my last weekend, you can’t beat the price vs quality. I did not drill the hole, I used some 3m double side tape. it’s pretty tight without tape. I add tape just in case
