Keep brightness above 50-60%, and it wouldn't use PWM. Granted you take a hit to battery life.

I was in the same boat, then I found the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED with the ryzen 6800m GPU. For some reason it's barely reviewed. Weighs only 3.07 pounds. I'm about to return this and get that one.

I noticed this laptop dims the screen brightness (in the corners especially) when switching from AC power to battery power. Can any else confirm this is normal behavior?
