Lol. It's a good a game. Buy whatever edition you want. I felt like this version had too many little mechanics, but you can comfortably ignore most of them. It's a nice little escape...

Civ VI is great on the switch as long as you understand the limitations. I only did small or medium maps with 6 or so civilizations. Alsobthe switch would heat up and shut down after 6-8 hours.

Although you're right about it being painstakingly slow at times, I would argue that it is worth it. Having a portable version to fulfill your CIV fix is priceless.

While it might not be as good on the switch and it is slow in late game, hard to beat 1 more turn on a 3 hour plane ride.

Civ 6 is a great game but imo it’s not worth it on any console. Should be played on pc with a mouse. That being said, civ 4 is still my go to and is, imo, one of the greatest games ever made.

Civ 6 is not worth it on the switch. The console version is missing a lot of features from the desktop one that helps you out. Even then, the switch is so slow in late games. I own it on PC and PS5....

Disagree. While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, the ending is better and everything is more refined in 2. Minerva’s Den is also one of the best DLC campaigns.

Any thoughts on Civilization VI? I'd be interested to know whether the Platinum or Anthology edition would worthwhile for someone who basically skipped Civs III, IV, and V.
