That used to be the case, but the 4090 can push so many frames at high resolution, and the complexity of game physics has gotten so deep, CPU bottlenecking is much more prevalent than it used to be...

I wouldn’t worry too much about the CPU, just don’t pair a 4090/7900XTX with an i3 and you’ll be alright.

I am using this card, the reason I bought it instead of other cheaper one, is because I want to avoid coil whine as much as possible, I believe paying $150 more is for something other than just RGB
