Did you read my previous response? “That's not to say the CPU is irrelevant when running high resolutions. You want to ensure your CPU isn't bottlenecking your GPU. Generally, if you have a super...

That used to be the case, but the 4090 can push so many frames at high resolution, and the complexity of game physics has gotten so deep, CPU bottlenecking is much more prevalent than it used to be...

I see, that's good to know. Is looking at recommended/minimum requirements for a game and seeing how many core processors they require and recommend a good way to judge this, as well? Some games...

Strategy games (like an RTS) tend to be CPU-bound, especially for large and/or custom maps where there are a ton of units on the battlefield. The higher the resolution, the more GPU-bound you are...

This card was just on sale for 1,099, plus 100 off with a promo code on the 29th to drop it down to 1,000. If that deal comes back this would maybe be worth it, right now its too expensive

I have a 7950x and another build with a 7900x. I'm happy with the 7950x since there's no non-X equivalent. That said, as far as the 7900x,if the non-X were available I would have taken that over...

I am using this card, the reason I bought it instead of other cheaper one, is because I want to avoid coil whine as much as possible, I believe paying $150 more is for something other than just RGB
