Keep in mind it depends on the cpu and motherboard but... Usually ddr4 3600 at cl18 is pretty much the same speed as 3200 at cl 16. The memory speeds will be pretty similar. I don't think you will...

I'm not sure I would say there's a danger to overclocking to 3600 from 3200 memory. But, for most intents and purposes it's the same to the system, 3200cl16 vs 3600cl18. However, Ryzen 1xxx and...

I have a custom AMD system that I built running 3200 megahertz memory. What is the danger of overclocking to 3600?

My HP computer will only recognize new memory at 2666 or 2133 depending on the brand of memory. My neighbor tried several brands and that's the best we could get. I ended up with silicon power brand...

Make sure "XMP" is enabled in BIOS. You also want to make sure that it's in the correct RAM slots on the motherboard (assuming there are more than two slots).

Thanks! I did check the speed in -> and it shows 3200 Mhz and total RAM at 16GB 2-slots. Will order a 3200 Mhz RAM then because 3600 Mhz will likely not work at full speed. If the original one...

I've used Teamgroup for the last couple builds and it's been fine. Currently running 16gb 3000... I don't NEED 32gb, but I do sort of want it. I thought I was going to jump on the AM5/DDR5 train...
