Says the mature width is 10 feet so I don't think it'll stay upright in a pot too long. Don't know the average yield but they often require pollinators. It'll be a while before you get a lot.

It requires a different variety of apple for a pollinator. One with early to mid season bloom time such as Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, or Gala just to name a few there are others.
