According to the product page on the newer fuel high speed ratchet (2567-20) the head thickness is the same as the non-fuel version in this kit at 3/4”. You must be referring to an older fuel...

The ratchet is great for any work in tight areas. Engine bay is an obvious example. But, another is if you work on an appliance like a washer or dryer. You could use a drill with bits on some...

I own Ryobi 18v tools and I just got into milwaukee 12v and I love the milwaukee tools. I mostly got into it to get the automotive tools from the 12v line including the fuel ratchet, stubby, drill...

Small engine/automobile work… anything that may need low torque nut removal. I switched over from dewalt 20v to Milwaukee m12 and haven’t noticed any major differences other than vastly smaller...

Can the m12 do everything m18 fuel can do? I’m eyeing the m18 fuel to go down more. What use is the ratchet for DIY or homeowners?

Yep, no one needs to be bought into 10 ecosystems, but two is more than fine. Two different sets of batteries is not a big deal at all

About $90 on ebay... And I have a mix of Ryobi 18v brushless and M12 (mostly fuel). Have a use for both, but the m12 stuff gets the most use day to day. And $134.10 with my military discount....

Personally, I'd look at all the tools available on both platforms and see which one has more of what you'll want. Try to make that your "base" set, but then don't be afraid to step outside to the...

They always offer some as hacks and some not, this is too cheap to be hackable tbh. Hack it the old fashioned way and sell the parts you don't need and it's still a screaming deal imho.

I'm a non-pro (mainly DIY) and have a mix of both (mainly for the battery warranty on Ridgid), but I find I reach for the M12s a lot more. Awesome size/weight/power ratio nor the M12s.

I just wish I knew the right combo to get. I jumped on the Ryobi 8-tool kit a few months ago but would rather have the Milwaukee ratchet. I kind of wanted the long neck version though. The...

The "average joe" doesn't see these sales. What he or she does see is that the ratchet is normally $189 "tool only" and the Hackzall is $179ish.

To them the markup price is actually discount to MSRP. They sell the tools after sales has ended.
