You should be able to change your network password. IIRC, the defaults on many xfinity gateways are abysmal.

Get rid of the combo unit you are paying for monthly and buy a separate modem and router.

I have 4 items that will not connect to my modem/gateway. Neato Botvac, Wyze Botvac, LitterRobot, Wyze plug….. When I try to connect my network says “weak security” and suggests I use WPA2 or WPA3...
