Overall, it's great. It fly's good, but camera color feature-wise, they left it high and dry.
Everyone's eye is different, but out-of-the box camera quality color could be improved.

if you are referring to remote RC-N1 (which typically comes with air 2 when you buy it new) then yes, RC-N1 is compatible with mini 3.

You're right. My old mavic air works on the phone and I was hoping this would. Honestly in terms of portability, the mini 3 and mavic air are almost the same size. I would give it to the air though...
