Every time this deal gets posted, somebody comes on here to make it sound like the headband is a super common failure point, and that if you buy this your headband WILL break. I know I've dropped...

the drivers in these are good but they have a 2K peak that is actually a draw back. You need to EQ them. Look up the autoEQ parametrics for this on the github.

People posting how crappy these were made not even want to try these. Then I bought them. Loved them. They’re on the heavy side, which I don’t like, but I love the sound. For this price they’re a...

I have these and prefer them over my DT700 Pro X. I think they're great at this price point, and sound way better than all my cheaper "good" headphones (e.g., DT770 Pro, ATH-M50x, Drop E-MU purple,...

You can put Beyerdynamic in there also. They are built like tanks. I have also been impressed with Meze so far for a more audiophile type headphone. The funny thing with Hifiman is I breifly had a...

Tbh, I don't think I've ever read anything good about Focal or HiFiman's build quality in any of their models. I've made it my rule to stick with Sennheiser and Philips. Never had build quality...

That response is pretty hilarious. You have cemented my decision to pass. I am not into games when it comes to luxury goods (and I know they are only $300, but does anyone really NEED these). Now...

Can confirm. I have a set of Clears and Elegias. The Elegias have long broken and the Clear is feeling like it will break very soon. Here is an email response from Focal in 2020 when my Elegias...

You only buy this headphone if you need a closed back headphone that does not leak sound, if so this is a good option at $299 . Otherwise the hifiman and Sennheiser headphones are vastly superior(...

BEFORE YOU BUY FOCAL HEADPHONES, do a search for "FOCAL HEADBAND BREAKAGE" and read up on that. Also, try looking for Focal's product repairs (not just under warranty) - good luck on this one. I...
