Haha, I'm old. I still use keyboard & mouse when I really want to sweat, but most of the time I play to relax. Keyboard & mouse just isn't as comfortable as a controller in the recliner.

Add 3 year asurion warranty for 2.99. have to search for it. Also may need extension cable if you are playing this on console and sit further away than 10 ft

Seems like a decent budget option especially to get back buttons. For me personally micro USB kills it so I'm going to pass. If that's not a concern for you then for 16 bucks seems fine.

Around 99% of the time yes, it uses the same protocol that Xbox controllers use, it's called XInput. It doesn't use DirectInput like the PlayStation controllers do
