Less than 25 tools total all these years the system has been out with no sign of expanding much Barely more compact than 20v counterpart, battery style does it no favors to compete in 12v space...

I hate it when a drill gets knocked over and breaks the bit, so I lay them down irregardless of what battery style it is.

Agree completely, I really do love the dewalt 12v tools. I have some m12 tools as well but I grab the dewalts more.

Please tell me why the M12 is better than DeWalt 12v. I hate drills with no base to stand the drill up.

The concept is to let people know that the 12v/20v use the same chargers, so it gives the impression more 12v tools are.on the way.

This isn’t 2012. Dewalt has put alot more effort into their 12v line in the past 2-3 years. It’s only at Lowe’s and gets nowhere the attention of M12. M12 still has a deeper bench but Dewalt is...

I bought into the DeWalt 12v Max line shortly after it first came out thinking they would expand it. Instead, they basically abandoned it while Milwaukee went ham with their M12 line, which is a...

Or it's a kit made to get people into the 12v lineup... Not a weird move at all

And the tools aren’t that much smaller. Really no point. I do have the drill and impact and barely use them. Also not a fan of the battery latch

They are probably banking on getting mechanics into both their 12v/20v line at once. I don't know why DeWalt doesn't just kill the 12v line already, no-one with more than one brain cell is going to...

If the ratchet was a 20V this would be an amazing set. It's the mix that makes it odd.

Why? It seems like a good set for automotive work to me.
