Yeah, my 1 year old golden rips through them. They still last about a week, sometimes 2 so it’s worth it for me. If you have a smaller dog, I’d be more cautious.

I do both. Submerge in water. Microwave for 5-6 minutes. Remove, put on plate and microwave for 90 seconds. They puff up into a crunchy long lasting treat that is easier on their teeth

You can put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to a minute. It will soften a bit. Also bring out the flavor. You can also boil it for a few minutes to soften.
