You have to make sure that the Anker one is also a GAN power strip. They are better at power protection and are more efficient in terms of power and energy.

Ugly, clunky, and doesn't have automatic shutoff for unprotected ports. Maybe for $5 but not for nearly the price of a proper one with automatic shutoff.

It seems silly but both the title and the description says the black one comes with a 100W USB-C cable and the white one doesn't so I'll splurge for the extra 76 cents and go black.

That's the version w/o AC outlets. But I'd bet that the version with the AC outlets uses the exact same USB circuitry. Why wouldn't it?
