Did you check the motor bar was connected properly? I had that issue and removed it and reconnected it.

Not understood at all, standing desk is someone can’t afford a chair or space for chair. Standing desk for people multi tasking easy to run off to. At the end, exercise is the main goal!

You are going to need 2 motors if you intend on using a metal top. Make sure you weigh it beforehand double-check you haven't exceeded the weight limit for that motor(s).
