lol I thought that too, but idk what it could be. I returned my 2nd one and Just bought an Ego from Ace. It did my yard without any issues. The Ego in general is much better than the Greenworks. ...

^^^^agree^^^^ I've been using the GW 80V tools (six of them) for about 4 years now. The only problem I've had is with the 2Ah batteries. They tend to die prematurely when used in high-draw tools like...

You couldn't be more wrong. My 80v Kobalt (rebranded Greenworks) has been incredible. Only need to do blade maintenance, no more cleaning carburators or storing gas, just as powerful, quieter. I've...

Honestly, if it happened to you twice, with two different machines with nearly identical problems, then its probably you. There's something about your lawn or the way you're operating the machine...

Last year's costco deal included 2x 4ah batteries! But the costco deal extends the battery warranty to 8 years. So you decide if the 2ah battery and 8-year warranty is worth $100 extra. I will say...

I have the older Kobalt version from Lowes, bought it four-five years ago thanks to SD. I was looking at the change because degenerative spinal disease makes pull starting painful, agonizing if it is...

I have the costco mower and one battery is already bad in just about 4 charge cycles over the last 1 year. Good luck getting the warranty..I called twice and waited for more than 45 mins on hold both...

Thanks! I've learned something new. The only mowers I've seen at the Costco retail stores have been 80V. IMHO, Greenworks needs to trim down the model lines. I think they currently have 12V, 24V,...

I would get a refund from Costco, that is not normal performance. Perhaps the Ego will do better, but the Ryobi is only 18v as I recall. I've had both the original GW 80v non-SP model and upgraded to...

Agree, a ~60V- 80V mower with a 4Ah+ battery is the minimum you need, unless your yard is postage stamp size. My yard is ~1/4 acre of thick Bermuda lawn, and I'll go through both 4Ah batteries to...

I’m sure I just have terrible luck but recently bought the Greenworks from Costco with the 4ah and 2ah battery. The first one would stop every other minute beeping and require me to take out the...

This is the price range that electric mowers should be to displace gas mowers. Lately I've seen 20-40v mowers in big box stores for $500-700. They're insane charging that much for weak ass mowers.

This is a different mower. It has the older exposed wiring design and it can only hold one battery at a time. It doesn't have the switchover two battery slots. Also you don't get the 8 year warranty...

I bought it end of season last november on sale for 450 and even then it showed on the product page that it came with a 1x 4ah battery and 1x 2ah battery. It came with 2x 4ah batteries. I have heard...

Do you have a link to the 48V model sold at Costco or the thread it was mentioned in? I've never seen anything at Costco other than 80 volt Greenworks tools for the past 6 years.

Be aware that the Costco trimmer is not the attachment capable model (if that is important to you)
