I think you should still be able to buy Microsoft, Playstation, or switch gift cards with it, but you’ll have to go in-store to get the $5 cards as the website won’t let you complete a $0 transaction.

Yeah it looks like they also have a "B3G1 Apparel, Trading Cards, Board Games, Toys & Collectibles" which is overriding the B1G1 sale items to charge you for a total of 3 items...classic gamestop.
