These speakers are 4 ohms and difficult to drive with low to midrange amps. I use a peachtree amp 500 for the front 2 of these. And it gives a phenomenal stage sound. Preamp with marantz works well....

If you can do anthem that would be best. If not a mid range Denon should work. I bought fans on Amazon for 10-15$ to keep my equipment cool and prevent overheating. Works great .
